Sun's Boarding House

Sun’s Student Boarding House will provide one (at this time) student serious about their education with a clean, quiet, safe, and helpful environment to promote academic success. We are ready to host International students, especially Chinese nationals. Both Chinese and English are spoken in our home. Host David Fair is a Penn State alumni, and Yanzhe Sun is an alumni of Changchun University of Technology in China. David’s son Ethan is currently attending PSU/York, and his daughter Mina, will be transferring there soon from Kutztown University. We will provide a private room with all utilities paid and at least two meals a day, both Chinese and American cuisine. We will provide transportation to and from the airport and our student can also enjoy misc. transport to nearby stores though many stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. We will also be happy to have our guest join us in various activities including sailing in a Bristol 27 sailboat on the Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore MD. A trip to Washington D.C. is also available for fun. Nearby convenient bus service to anywhere in York is available. We are dedicated to providing more than just a place to live. Join us and become a member of our Penn State family. Room and board- $1000 per month, first month up front with a one-year contract (for this Spring only can be less).
